I am an academic psychiatrist, Professor of Psychiatry, psychotherapist, mental health organizational consultant, educator/ trainer, supervisor, and mentor. I am in private psychiatric practice in Stamford, Connecticut combining psychotherapy and psychopharmacology licensed and working & consulting in Connecticut, New York, Colorado, and Texas.

I went to college at the University of Michigan, and medical school at New York University. I did my psychiatric residency training at Albert Einstein and completed psychoanalytic training at Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.

My experiences include academic leadership positions as Professor of Psychiatry, at four academic institutions. These positions include Director of Psychiatric Residency Training at New York Medical College, in Westchester, New York; Vice Chair and Senior Associate Dean of Education at Colorado School of Medicine (CU-SOM) ; and Vice /Associate Chair of Psychiatry and Education at CU-SOM and Dell Medical School. Currently I am a Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, teaching and supervising the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. I am in private psychiatric practice in Stamford Ct seeing patients and consulting with organizations.
